This Privacy Policy explains how Reich Couture, a brand of Aman Enterprises (a sole proprietorship of Hanuman Saini) ("Reich Couture", "we", "us"), Plot 155-156, Bansipuri 1, Jagatpura, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302017, India, collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit reichcouture.com or buy from us. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and are aligning our practices with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 as they come into force.
1. Data we collect
- Contact and order details: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, order history, returns and exchanges.
- Payment details: payments are processed by secure third-party payment gateways. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details (such as payment method and transaction ID); we do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking password. For COD refunds, we collect the UPI ID or bank account details you give us, only to send your refund.
- Account details: login email, saved addresses and preferences, if you create an account.
- Communications: messages you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or our contact form.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed and actions on the Website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Preferences: for example, the showroom weather you choose, stored in your own browser.
2. Virtual fitting room photos
If you use our virtual fitting room, the photo you choose is processed only on your own device to create the preview. It is not uploaded to our servers, not stored by us and not shared with anyone. Closing or refreshing the page removes it.
3. Why we use your data
- To process, ship and deliver your orders, handle payments, returns, exchanges and refunds.
- To provide customer support and respond to complaints.
- To send order and delivery updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
- To send offers and newsletters, only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the Website secure, prevent fraud and improve our products and Website.
- To comply with legal obligations, such as GST invoicing and record-keeping, and lawful requests from authorities.
We process your data with your consent, which you give when you provide it for a stated purpose, or for other lawful uses permitted by law, such as completing a purchase you asked for or meeting a legal obligation. You may withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing already done, but we may not be able to complete an order without the data it needs.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:
- Shopify, which hosts our store, and our payment gateways;
- courier and logistics partners, to deliver and pick up orders;
- communication, analytics and advertising tools (such as email/SMS providers, Google and Meta), where you have agreed to marketing cookies or communications;
- government or law-enforcement authorities, when required by law.
Our service providers may store or process data on servers outside India (for example, Shopify's servers). We share data only with providers who are bound to protect it, and only to the extent permitted under Indian law.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the store (cart, checkout, login) and, with your choice, analytics and marketing cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the Website from working.
6. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting laws (including GST record-keeping requirements). Marketing data is deleted when you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, unless the law requires us to keep it.
7. Security
We use reasonable security practices, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls and reputable, certified service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the authorities as required by law.
8. Your rights
You can:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate data;
- ask us to erase your data, unless we must keep it by law;
- withdraw consent for marketing or other consent-based processing;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity;
- raise a grievance with us, and, if unresolved, approach the Data Protection Board of India once the relevant provisions are in force.
To exercise these rights, email reichcouture@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity first.
9. Children
Our Website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian, and we do not track or target advertising at children. If you believe a child has shared data with us, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
